One of my most urgent needs of the server when I make this level is the integration with Debian GNU / Linux software RAID-1 monitoring. A second controller mounted on the server you must install a special software and course set up properly the kernel. Often this type of operation requires much time and patience, especially in the benchmarking which must always precede the start of production of a server after such interventions. In this case it was all in the best way, I have to say more because of the quality of the controller and the software that used the distro (in the sense that in this case, Debian has no special merit in the proper functioning of the software).
