December 31
Today ends a year in some fundamental ways.
Personally it was a period of profound change, especially on the professional level.
But the same wind of change has gone through all of the 2008, I believe.
There are things that were initiated during the unfolding of these twelve months and shall be designed to have a significant impact on the lives of many, many people.
The economic crisis - that finally no longer dares to deny - has dropped the opaque veil of the decomposed mass media euphoria that has long invaded the rooms of our homes, imposing the image of a reality that is really nothing more nor the world in which we live, or what we want to live.
I do not know if you noticed, but now it is much harder to distract people's attention from the facts and the real problems, suddenly seems that everyone wants to return to a clearer language.
Who knows what this next phase transition does not make it all more aware - at least for a while '- the value that commitment, seriousness and determination in everyday life.
It happens more often to cross the road with people tremendously successful, professionals seeking new ways to put into play - without cheating - themselves and / or their companies.
Not everyone is still willing to discuss their own certainties, of course ... But let us hope that the new year bring with it everything that we really need: the confidence and desire to change things.
Happy 2009!

If they hear all sorts of Microsoft products and I - despite being totally opposed to jihad promoted by certain extremists of Open Source - I spent occasional words of condemnation against this or that application license plate Redmond.
Today, however, lose three minutes of my time to give Internet Explorer the honors of war!
What I play in this post is the window of error returned by Internet Explorer on a PC which is equipped with Windows Vista Home Premium Edition.
The reasons why the browser suffers from this limitation - the inability to download files larger than 4GB - are known and in a sense entirely motivated (but who would ever want to download the ISO of a DVD with the Internet Explorer?!?) but the last line of this warning deserves a commendation:
Please use a different browser or a download manager
Guys, this is the moral and intellectual honesty!
Do not you agree!?
Use a different browser ...!
Sure would be nice if the same thing happen when you visit any website.
A small warning should always notify the user that Internet Explorer could be affecting the display of the page that is going to open because of failure to comply with W3C standards.
But you imagine?
I open Computer Point and IE tells me:
Attention, to make sure a correct view of this page, we recommend using another browser.
Who knows, maybe, maybe, one day ...

I quote online edition of Corriere della Sera:
A setting of the Internet Zone security level to "high" would be allowed in these days of security vulnerabilities in more than a few, but nothing really conclusive for a risk that Microsoft saw the program a real highway to the exit, involuntary, of your passwords, user IDs and other sensitive data from your computer in favor of "fishermen" malicious data of others on the Net According to Trend Micro, a company that processes online safety, have been so far about 10 000 Internet sites "modified" - or created ad hoc - to exploit the opportunities of theft dates from Explorer flaw.
As several experts have suggested up to 19 now is better to continue browsing using other browser.
Then from Redmond should solve the problem.
At least until the next, inevitable, alarm.
Nothing new under the sky, let's say I needed an excuse to post here with the very nice JPG logo Explorer stormed by bacarozzi.

I admit it weighs, but every time it ends.
Two weeks after the fateful day I have not the faintest idea what to do at New Year.
Yet there are those who remember me - almost every day for at least a month - which end up deferring to stay home or, worse, to repair some bad fall-back party.
So, on the underlying reasons why the approach of holidays and special occasions do not turn on any light bulb in my head indagherò then: now I urgently need a brilliant idea.
If you're passing through and have something really special to report me for New Year's Eve, commented on this post or email me from the page Get in touch !
