In truth, the intent of my post was not to disseminate information on how to dispose of the fee RAI: I just wanted to bring the experience of a city struggling with the usual bureaucracy. However, I leave your comments because I think they are interesting and certainly useful to someone.
Personally I think the RAI license fee is an anomaly and that the methods of its collection are often crude and brutal than you might imagine. Let me give an example: three years ago I moved and RAI has continued to send - with Italic efficiency - the bulletins for the payment of rent to the old address, where another person (who took the TV) would have to fend to pay them. This, alas, has not happened and I found myself - after more than three years - with a pile of old notices of payment - now expired - from the Agency charged with the collection.
