Russia, the largest country in the world that spans two continents, Europe and Asia, is a land of charm and great contradictions, features that can be identified in the landscape, the people and society.
It is to this land and this people, the Russians living in Italy and the Italians who, for whatever reason are linked to Russia and fans that this site is dedicated. Russia primarily, but not only!
Our interest is for all those lands and states that once belonged to 'the Soviet Union, where many Russians still reside, and who maintain ties with Russia a socio-political and can not be overlooked.
Italy-Russia Forum on we discuss culture, society, customs and traditions, history and politics, art, music and cooking.
There are, of course, the practical information regarding the procedures for obtaining visas, the necessary documentation to Russian citizens for their lives in Italy and Italians living in Russia, information and travel reports in Russia, etc..

The Linux Day is a national event organized in local events that aims to promote Linux and free software.
The Linux Day is sponsored by ILS (Italian Linux Society) and organized locally by July Italians and other groups who share the aims of the event.
The responsibility of individual local events is left to the respective groups organizers, who have freedom of choice regarding the details of local initiatives, in accordance with the general guidelines of the event.
The first edition of the Linux Day was held December 1, 2001 in about forty cities scattered throughout the country.
The number has grown considerably over the years, becoming now a major event in the Italian landscape of free software.

Opens its doors today Habitat Valencia 2008 , an event that brings together under its own name, the International Furniture Fair (MIF), Furniture and accessories (DE> CO), lighting (FIAM), Textiles for the Home and Furniture (Textilhogar) and Modern Art and Contemporary Art (FIART). The event will last until 27 September. The artist-designer Fab3 presents new creations to the pavilion N2-P6, booth 143.
