Today begins the first Italian Fest Blog

On 12, 13 and 14 September 2008 in Riva del Garda will host the first Italian BlogFest: an event that will bring together in one place, for the first time, everything revolves around the network in Italy, with particular attention to blogs, to social networking and community. In essence, something that Italy has never been realized. There will be three days in which the Network will gather to tell and be told by those who attend.

The entire town of Riva del Garda will BlogFest available for events of its spaces, its streets and its lake. In addition, for the occasion, Riva has chosen to be among the first Italian town to be completely "wifizzata" wherever you can surf the net.

The events include: conferences, debates, installations, presentations, concerts, award shows, games and any other type of event the network is able to suggest.

Three major thematic conferences, also broadcast via the web, involving the most famous characters of the blogosphere and journalism. Among the topics: "Frontiers of television: mouse against remote": Marriage announced between the two small displays, "Information in formation": the future of journalism in the network and the network that makes journalism an eye on evolution distribution of information and knowledge network, "Social Networks: a user-centric": the state of democracy in the emerging network.
Three debates organized by the two main sponsors of the event, Telecom Italy (which provides the blogosphere his AD Franco Bernabe for a comparison on new digital Italy) and Windows Live (which makes possible the two debates on the Saturday of information and television).

Nine different "BarCamp", are managed by the participants: one general and two theme, with sessions of 15 minutes each, spread over all the squares of Riva del Garda. We discuss, among other things, fashion, art, food, tourism, literature, advertising, information.
Evening events that will move the audience through the streets of the city to attend the award ceremony of the 2008 Italian Blog Awards, and attend concerts, games and dj-sets.
