There are no uncertain terms, my experience with VirtualBox by Sun Microsystems was simply amazing! Now I can use the software to run better under Windows XP without having to restart every time my Linux box. Necessary, try it! Needless lost in explanations of how to install because it is embarrassing in its simplicity: just install the package with dpkg. In this way, even those - like me - using a kernel compiled ad hoc will be assisted in the compilation (full auto) the forms necessary to virtualization. Here are the steps:

  1. http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads visit and click on Binaries (all platforms)
  2. accept the terms of use and download the correct file (in my case: virtualbox_1.6.4-33808_Debian_etch_i386.deb)
  3. install with dpkg:
    #dpkg -i virtualbox_1.6.4-33808_Debian_etch_i386.deb
