The experience to make me a pizza in the company of a UNIX server had not yet done.
There's always a first time for everything, even the most miserable!
In fact I am not entirely alone, my partner also shares with me this initiation not exactly exciting.
We're doing a backup general view of the complete rebuilding of a client machine, which passes from one SCO OpenServer 5 to Fedora Core 7, a light years leap forward in my humble opinion, although I am not a big fan of Open-sister Red Hat
Apart from a number of drawbacks associated with the HTFS filesystem - not at all supported by Knoppix, which I wanted to make a backup on the fly - to dominate the evening hours from the distressing impression of being sucked into a vortex spacetime that has catapulted back a good twenty years ... Do not put hands on a long SCO.
Now that I did not understand why they are faring at all well in these parts ( see here ).
Not that it makes me happy, not at all.
Only you can not oppose the progress of the alleged right to keep - at any cost - your market position, especially if progress is called Linux and is the result of a collective effort that is unprecedented in the history of the Animal Kingdom.
I do not know, I will not dwell further.
Luttazzi I'm not, eh! ![]()
PS: I forgot to mention the pitiful conditions in which it was delivered the server! Here are two images that speak more than 1024 words, or the server as we have received and how the customer riconsegneremo:
Of course we ate pizza next to the server AFTER having cleaned ![]()
